WHAT WE EXPECT
Anytime you entrust your child(ren) to our care—Sunday through Saturday—the following policies and procedures are in effect.
Ministry Goals
It is our prayer that by the time your children complete their time in Children's Ministry at
1. Know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
2. Understand and participate in the basic disciplines of Christian life, such as prayer, tithing, baptism, regular church attendance and serving in the church.
3. Understand the importance of evangelism and be able to articulate how to become a Christian.
4. Know how to make choices that reflect a lifestyle of personal holiness and Christ-like character.
Wellness Policy
To protect all children, we ask parents to please keep your child at home if he/she experiences any of the following in the last 24 hours:
* Fever
* Vomiting
* Diarrhea
* Lethargy
* Loss of appetite
* Severe or unusual rash
* Mucous from eyes or ears
* Cloudy mucous from nose
* Open or infected sores
Participation Policy
To promote a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, we expect that the children will:
1. Follow directions the first time they are given.
2. Not interrupt while people are speaking during the lesson.
3. Stay in their seat unless given permission to get up.
4. Treat others with kindness.
5. Refrain from using inappropriate language.
Safety Procedures
To ensure the safety of our children, Consolidated’s Children's Ministry maintains the following procedures anytime you entrust them to our care:
1. Parents must check their child(ren) in at the registration table.
2. All children are assigned a number. Stickers for infants and toddlers. Photo ID badges for those in preschool through fifth grade. Parents receive a matching number.
3. If a child needs his/her parents, the number will appear on the screen in the sanctuary. Parents should immediately report to their child’s designated area.
4. To retrieve your children at the end of the service/event, parents must present the correct number sticker to pick up infants or toddlers, or the corresponding ID badge for those in preschool through fifth grade.
5. The child must be picked up by the parent or guardian who signed the child in, or the parent must notify staff upon registration that an authorized adult will be picking the child up that day, providing the name of the adult. The authorized adult must be listed on the child application form that each parent will complete.
6. Parents/guardians are expected to stay on the premises at all times that children are participating in Sunday School, Children’s Worship, Wednesday Night Bible Study, or Noah’s Ark.
